Thank you all for the help. Will pickup or order bolts today (for both sides) and get my show “back on the road”!!! Again, many thanks for all of your thinking and intel.

(and also thankful (and hopeful) that this is all that it is!)

While researching changing the CV or replacing the axle assembly, I stumbled onto a great trick / tool for doing wheel bearings for those that are into DIY, but can’t (or won’t) swing for the cost of proper bearing RR tools— for what it is worth:

I hope the axle is still straight and salvageable. I replaced both rears a couple years ago when the CV boots cracked and the bearings needed to be repacked. The cost all in was slightly more than a repack, new boots and labor- but it's all new now.
