Default Wheel refresh

I am looking to repaint or powder coat my turbo twist hollow spokes for my 96 cab. I cannot get the wheels clean and looking sharp any longer, age has taken its toll. The plan is to refinish the wheels in the original stock grey color.

First question is what the preference of the Rennlisters? Repaint or powder coat.

Second, has anyone dealt with the Alloy Wheel Repair Specialist franchise? What was your experience? The company appears to have branches nationwide.

Can't help with either of your questions, but you do need to find someone who understands the hollowspoke.
Most refurb shops (as I understand the process) as a Step One put the wheel into some kind of liquid/acid-bath to remove the existing paint.
With the hollowspoke, you MUST then hang it (overnight) with the valve hole at the low point, to allow ALL of the fluid out of the interior.
Otherwise, you'll never be able to balance the wheel.

Good luck
