Pong, I wished you would have told you were coming so
close. I would have grabbed the TT and met you down by
Gorman or at least in the Lancaster area!!
Next year!! I dont know why the flowers are lame
this year. W ehave had alot of rain this year and we did
not get the big bloom. Might of been the timing of the rain.
anyway I am not to o far from Lancaster and really close to
WIllow Let me know next time!!!

Folks,

Thanks for the kind words. We really had a GREAT time on the trip. The weather, the roads, the traffic, the vista, and of course the car, all spell perfection.

A few things we particularly enjoyed. Melissa and I had some quality father-daughter bonding time together. Foxen Canyon Road has a series of corners made for heel-toe down-shifts. The hills and fields were all fresh and green, the most soothing aroma and color there is.

A while back, I posted a thread about low-mile cars. I realize that time is a rare commodity (which limits our seat time). However, with a 993 (RUF in my case) and places like these, the miles and the memories are truely priceless.

Enjoy your rides.

CP-You have provided your daughter with an experience she will never forget. Glad you stopped and smelled the roses (and the other flowers!).
Nice pics.

CP,

Great sequence of pictures. I especially liked the photo in the field of mustard. Spectacular shot. Thanks for sharing them. Hope to see you again in the future.
