Did you miss the part about the REBUILT title?

A nice 1998 C2S will go well over $60K but not one with a rebuilt title. I check out every C2S sale I can find as I have one too.

If I could get the mid 40's for the car I would be happy. or do you think if I hold on to it the rebuilt title will not be as big an issue as the car gets older?

Just be aware that it carries a certain stigma. Perhaps when you sell it, you'll find another person who's willing to live with it in exchange for the price discount (it will *always* have a price discount vs. one that doesn't, regardless of age!) but you will certainly narrow the number of potential buyers. As long as you know these facts going in, it's up to you to make that call. At the end of the day, if the car has been fixed up properly, it will still drive and look like one without a similar stigma and only you will know the difference.
