I wish I still had that 1970 911E that was converted to a full-on RSR IMSA track car... fuel cell, full cage, on-board fire system, Only 2.7 liters, but made 291 HP on 46 ida webers. and only 2000 pounds, ready to race.

Also maybe the 1967 Mustang GT fastback 4-speed. And maybe the 1960 Austin Healey 3000.

I also had an '89 Turbo S. That was a fun car, when the turbo kicked in, the car pinned me to my seat like no other. It was a lot of fun. But I always struggled with the driving position on that car.

I'm not that tall, but for some reason the car was really uncomfortable by the time I could get close enough to the clutch. It was such a strange driving position that I actually got car sick while driving my own car!

Had to give it up. If I kept it, I would have done the chip and upgraded head gasket for 300bhp.

My boyhood dream was Guards Red 911 with that big wing, never imagined I'd actually got one.
I still have G red 911 (my 993) and will add big wing (RS) to it soon, this one will be with me until I can't drive it anymore, from then on she'll be my sons' car.

It's a toss-up between a

1960 150S Jag roadster. Silver blue, 16" wires, Balck top and red interior. Had an Aborth exhaust and was a blast to drive. SOld it for $1,500 in 1970 i think.

And a 1960 S90 Roadster. 1750cc, extractor exhaust, balanced. It was red with black. We used to put our skis on the back and cruise to Vail for the weekend. Sold it for $1,400 I think in 1972.

1966 Alfa Romeo Duetto, ivory with black interior. Traded it in towards a brand new GTV-6, big mistake. The Duetto had great roadholding, fantastic gearbox, and terrific curb appeal.

Unfortunately the muscle car market was really down in the early-mid 90's. I was quite surprised as well. This was a ZERO rust California car, some rare options, documented very low mileage. It was bought new not far from where I lived (Fullerton) at the time. I was very lucky not to have lost money on the car, but I cant imagine what it would be worth today??

It is a toss-up for me- my first car was a 1978 VW Van that was so well-tuned. I used to go about 85 down the interstate without any problems. Drove it for two years and sold it for what I paid for it, but I'd pay double that to have it back now!

The other is the 96 BMW M3 I sold to buy my 993. Should have sold the MR-2 instead. Oh well, the market is saturated with good ones if I ever want another one!

A 1976 Corvette, candy apple red, straight swap with VW cabriolet, at that time my daughter needed a car for college, Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. Wife didn't even know about the swap until I took the VW home. She understood. The vette was falling apart anyway, after driving it for 2 years in the Philippines (I was in the Navy stationed there). Still have pics and set of keys.

My one regret was selling my rare 1969 RS Z28. It was a heavily optioned, GM documented X33 "GM show car account" Z28 with 40,000 miles. It had 23k miles when I bought it. I had owned it for 18 years, and after buying my first Porsche...a 1987 911 Cab in 1995... the Z sat for several years... I finally sold it for $15K to an enthusiast, who 1 year later sold it for $25k.... today it's value would be up there with my 97 993 Cab, I'm sure.
