Default Pics - Repaired with Euro Bumpers and GHL bypasses

As many of you may remember, I did a little dance in the Kink last Labor Day weekend. As a result, my car and I took a little time off from each other for about six months. Well, she just walked back into my life a few weeks ago, and I thought I'd post a few inspirational pics showing what cold hard cash can do with a crunched car.

Before:

After the "Kiss":

After repair and installation of Euro bumpers, Turbo S ducts, and clear lenses:

As an aside, some folks had expressed concern about the aesthetics of a muffler bypass (whether it would leave a visible "hole" in the rear wheelwell where the mufflers once sat). As the pic shows, I don't think it's unattractive. Plus, its' such a great upgrade in terms of the nice sound, reduced weight, and improved access of the turbos to cooling air.

Hope the pics help folks trying to make decisions about these upgrades.

Almost makes it worth crashing the car, eh?
Gorgeous car. Hope to do the same to mine someday. The mods, I mean.

Anir,

The car looks great - I really like the ducts & clear lenses.

You coming up for the USGP? Up for dinner again?

Hi Anir,

Your car looks awesome... from the pictures, I can't tell if it's been in an accident or not. Honestly I like the new look more (w/ the Euro bumper and clear lens)

Default Thanks, guys!

I really appreciate all the compliments. Is this a great place or what?

Rick,

We'll be in Paris during the USGP this year. Honestly, we had no idea they were moving the race from September to June at the time of the Paris scheduling, or we would have kept our priorities straight!

Looking good Anir. After a recent mistake not locking the cabinets in the trailer my passenger door will need a repaint. I am thinking that it is time to fix all the chips on the front end at the same time. Of course that will mean no bumperettes and turbo S ducts.

Very nice Anir. Your car came back together beautifully. I'll bet you are glad to have it back. And now, like many others, you have me thinking about the Euro bumper/clear lens treatment.

Congratulations on getting your 993 back. It looks great.
