Am I missing something? 110K for a NB seems a little silly. I mean, I'm still not selling mine,

It's black, has nice wheels, a great stance... for most people this looks like a $100k car all day long. I think prices are now just catching up with the 90's zeitgeist.

You may be right, but thank goodness I bought when I did. They are already getting way out of my league.

When I bought my C2 8 years ago the NB:WB spread was about $25-$30k for real good examples. If WB’s are going for $140-$150k now, $100k for nice NB’s isn’t out of whack.

Those hardbacks alone added at least $10k to the price.

I bought my 1995 C2 for less than $40,000 in January 2020. It has a little over 100,000 miles, but still. This is nuts.

The on-line auction platform success makes purchasing much easier from the comfort of your living room.

For a lot of people, it's kind of like Amazon.

I have to admit, I have bough my fair share of things because I was bored or got influenced by the power of good advertising.

i think this is a very astute point. we're definitely getting ridiculously lazy as a society and i bet this could be a contributor. let's not forget, we have car vending machines now.

People are doing the same with houses in my area. They shop for them online, bid way over listing price, and move in without ever seeing them first.

I think all of these thoughts are spot on. That plus the fact the 993 has been undervalued for a while. There are some marques and models that seems to be catching up with where they 'should be' - British, German Italian 90's-00's particularly.
