Yup, considering how many people have reported it (myself included), I think it's normal for the driver side center vent to blow harder than the passenger side center vent. Odd thing is, their ducting is connected--you can shine a flashlight into the driver's vent, and see its beam when looking through the passenger vent. And vice-versa.
Of course, it you want the flow to be equalized, you have to crank down on the driver's side vent. I sometimes have to do this for da' wife, when we're driving around with the top off on a cool day, so she can get more heat (and I'm already burning up).
