Does Gert cut the original weld, modify, and re-weld at the original seam? I've seen some other RSRs where the cut-line is where the date and flange type are stamped.

BTW, what are you doing with the takeoffs? Are they too rusty to do a fister treatment? I'm curious - mine probably look like that.

The old mufflers are probably fine for years to come, but the heat shields must be changed. I will probably put them up for sale.
