Post Should Top Cover Always Be Used?

I've got a question that maybe some of you can give me some input on. When I lower my convertible top, should I always put on the top cover? I ask because I like to put the top down when I drive home from work, and that is about a five minute drive.

Thanks for the input.

I believe to prevent damage to the liner, you're supposed to put up the boot but I'm too lazy to do it unless if it's a long distance drive.

If it's a 5 minute drive, it wouldn't hurt unless you drive on the freeway.

Basically the hood cover is essentiallt a dust cover that protects the folded down hood from dust that gets blown in and can also scratch your back window. I wouldnt worry for a 5 minute drive but mahe sure that you clean the inside of your roof occasionally.

Thanks for the input. I will definitely start using the boot cover.
