Nokia amp wire harness
Been trying everything to disconnect the harness from the Nokia amp. Nothing works, so obviously I'm missing the correct technique. Can someone tell me how to solve this riddle?
This isn't my photo, but it shows someone who disconnected the harness I'm struggling with. [My problem is no audio, except when I press on the speaker wires on one side of the connector. I'm hoping it's corrosion on the terminals or a loose connection. Yes, I should upgrade, but unfortunately the original hi-fi system has to go a bit longer]
Many thanks!!

Depress the lock catch and pull out that end of the connector. In the pic, you see the lock catch at the right end of the connector. The lock must be pressed towards the wiring in order to unlock. The other end is secured with the J-shape hinge part.
It might require some force to pull it out. Use a small flat screwdriver as a jack near the lock to ease the extraction.
I would not be surprised if the bad connection is on the PCB board inside the amp, and not on the external connector. I sometimes see this, and it is due to water leaks and corrosion issues on the PCB.
Cheers,
Tore
