Interesting!!
As it was only confirmed to me yesterday by an Official Porsche Centre that a recall with reference WR04 is current this is a bit confusing.
When I asked about the Wiring Harness recall W301 I specifically asked if there was a deadline for this to be completed (I want mine done in the Spring)I was told it was open ended. Is this also the case with WR04 and if it has been going on for some time presumably some people will have had this recall work done to their car. If anyone has had it done at sometime in the past can they post the details please?
I have not seen any previous reference to this recall on this board or indeed anywhere else. If no further information comes to light I will call Evans Halshaw Porsche again and see what else I can find out.

I asked Sonnen here in the Bay Area about WR04...they haven't heard of it. But then again, when the wiring harness came out, I heard of it before they did anyway (thanks Rennlist), so I figured I'd give it 2 weeks and call back.
