Wiring harness replacement by Len Stoler Porsche in Baltimore
FYI,
Two weeks ago I had the wiring harness replaced under E.J.'s recall (Thanks again, E.J.) by Len Stoler Porsche in Baltimore. They seem to have done a great job, with no issues that I can tell. The dealership told me I would not have my car for two days but it only took them a day to complete the work. I believe I was the fifth harness replacement for them.
FWIW, the car came back with a small scratch/rub mark in the driver's side rear fender guard (the painted shark fin). Not a big deal especially since I was planning to take the car to a touch up guy anyway before having a clear bra installed.
When I called the service manager to bring it to his attention and to politely ask if, in the future, they could try and not return my car in worse condition, he, Ken Parker, was incredibly professional, apologetic and genuinely seemed to care about this issue. He offered to rectify the problem in any way that would make me happy. I told him I took care of the scratch on my own and thanked him for his surprising concern.
So, Len Stoler has found a new customer and now my 993 won't burn down to the waterline! <img border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" title="" src="graemlins/bigok.gif" />
