my favorite Porsche colors came on the 914

here is a great site for those colors

I would love to have a Viper Green Turbo S, that would be a stunner

WOW~!!! The blues, violets, greens and yellows are amazing~!!! Each and everyone of them looks fantastic...how cool to see all these...What a great thread and thanks to everyone for posting...when one sees these colors actually on the car, one thinks..."yeah, I would buy that.."

Sorry for diluting the thread with my boring Metallic Black...

Mike, that is an awesome color...you are fortunate to have found that one.

CP...I've always admired that car since your aquisition...thought all along it was just "regular" black...even cooler now knowing its Metallic...awesome car

Here you go PorscheDavid:
The color definitely depends on the angle and amount of direct light (garage, sunlight, ...).

This pic was a taken just at dusk on a hazy day. The hint of metallic is more noticable toward the front of the car since that is the direction of the sunlight. Notice the rear is more "just black".

Thanks PorscheDavid. Here's a pic from a different angle/lighting in which it looks more like non-met black.

Default slate grey metallic

some pics in my sig link from last year.
and, this week i put in halogen track lights in the garage. what a diff that makes! i recommend a garage lighting upgrade as a good alternative mod!

btw, love that black metallic also on that 911sc. the slate grey has some of that same quality of changing hue in different sunlight conditions.

Thanks Tom.

Phil - what a difference the wheels and clear side lenses make, even the color looks slightly different due to the lighting. Looks sharp!

How about Viola Blue? Anyone got any hi-res pics of that one under differing lighting conditions?
