The 911 red book "should" have colors and production numbers.

Here's a color that the owner said was Oak(?) green or something like that. (Hope he doesn't mind me posting this picture). He was very clear in stating that it was NOT Aventurine green. (I liked it, which is why I kept this picture..)

Default L40X Vesuvios metallic

My -97 C2S is Vesuvius metallic with rear mirrors, door handles and engine grill in seal grey. The color is grey violett. Depending on light it's more ore less grey and violett. Amazing color. Hope I get the picture right - this is my first try. Sorry for pict quality, but it wasn't possible to upload any high res.

Default About Vesuvios

Forgot to say that I think this was a special color only available for C2S.

I've been trying to find out more about my Pastel Yellow. I have a 1997 Sales Brochure that shows it as a standard color yet I only know of a couple others on this site. Anybody know how to find out production numbers by color? PCNA told me that info is not available. Any info would be appreciated and the cool colors are awesome!!!

Pedro's pic of the warehouse full of beautiful Porsches is your typical day at RPM Sports Cars in Houston, TX. An amazing place to see!

Gordo, '97 Pastel Yellow here too! For a standard color that year, you sure don't see many 993s in this color. I have only seen 2 others in PY in person - one was Rand's '97 in Cali and the other was a '98 C2S at the Ventura German Auto Fest last year(which looks like Premier is trying to peddle right now). I did see a PY Boxster here in Omaha yesterday. Everytime I show up to a Porsche event I get asked many times what color yellow my 993 is. Everybody remarks about how great it looks.

If you dig up any info on Pastel Yellow pass it over this way.

Gordo

Another Pastel Yellow here. The only other ones I have seen are Van's and the one at Ventura.

im not a paint code expert, but there was a Vesuvious (purple?) turbo for sale recently. Im sure, for a price, any color was available on any 993 model.

This was a car from the special wishes department from Porsche. It's a nb with a turbo nose, 3.8 engine, LSD, full carbon, etc... I think it's a one of a kind :-)
