Got mine and it came assembled correctly. The "half moon" notch which mates to the shift rod is facing the rear.

Oh well, early adopter issues I guess.
Just made the correction this evening. It was an easy five minute fix. The red thread locker was minimal. Three minutes with the heat gun set at 500 degrees, and it loosened right up. I think the install video mentions a 5 mm hex and a 2.5mm hex. They apparently switched to a 2.5 mm torx bit for the final run.

Looking forward to installing this unit. It looks Ronne very well designed.

Easy fix

Hopefully @cobalt got his installed before his track event tomorrow. Can't wait to hear his feedback.

Going to put this in tomorrow. The shortest setting is the hole at the end, right? It came pre assembled on the 2nd hole from bottom so not sure which is the shortest one

Yes, lowest hole is the shortest throw. It raises the lever 1/2" just like the RS shifter and requires less (shorter) throw on the top side of the lever to move the bottom side the same distance.

Between my gallbladder surgery last month and now this one with my foot, I've had my fill of surgeries.

I really like this shifter. My only complaint is it isn't taller (I'm set up for the shortest throw / tallest height). Another inch or so, maybe even two, would be ideal.

The only problem with that is it would make compatibility with stock/tequipment style shift boots an issue. Wouldn't be enough free material without having the leather fully stretched out.

I think an option to adjust the height of the shifter would have been very cool. I have a Function first shift **** on my car and I have it mounted at the highest point on the shift lever possible.
Its still not tall enough. The stock shifter seems low to me. I like being able to remove my shift hand from the steering wheel and have the shifter close by. More adjustments would be a welcome thing.
Maybe Ver 2.0

The shift lever on this Numeric box can easily be replaced with a longer one. it is just a metal bar attached to the bearings via screws. Could just elongate the top section of the lever after the bend and sell a few different lengths.
