Default Agreed Value Insurance

Has anyone heard of Hagerty Insurance or had any experience with them?

I went through their online application and it came out to $961/year for $65K agreed value. I did ask about DE events (haven't heard back)

Any advice would be appreciated.

I am currently "preparing" to buy a 993, and checked with Hagerty a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, I think that the 993s are not old enough to qualify for their insurance. If I am incorrect on this please let me know, as I would also be interested in going with them.

Update: I also believe that they require a garage for storage, and the car can't be modified for speed.

Update #2: Just checked the website again... looks like you can insure a 993 through them, but must classify it as an exotic. Didn't catch that the first time.

There are some good comments about Hagerty in the other forums, you may want to look there.
