Nice Car Mike! Especially the background and setting.

Do you ever get the Darrell Waltrip syndrome and want to do Donuts in your backyard?

Hahaha..that will be one of my option when the wife don't want me to go and play at VIR... I'll do donuts on the lawn, she'll get mad bigtime, there's my reason to spend 3 days at VIR

Thanks! The previous owner let brake fluid just drip on the calipers when he had them bled(i guess), so it stripped the original paint. I re-painted them myself with High Temp Engine Block spray paint.

Beautiful car Mike!!

I know I sound silly for saying this, but your second picture at the beginning of your post made me laugh when I first glanced at it. For some stupid reason, to me it looked as if your 993 were posing like the famous "The Thinker" statue , gazing out over the lake at sunset pondering its existence, world peace, and why she's just so damn good looking!! :-)

God help me, now 993's are talking to me!!

EDIT- I just went and looked at it again, and I'm still laughing my a$$ off!! I think I need another beer. Oh, the confessions of a dangerous mind....

Doing a little core aeration on the lawn there, Mike?

Awesome pics! When I see pics like yours, I want to get out my digital camera and come up with a unique local setting to take some interesting new pics too!

Love them yellow calipers. Anything different on our cars makes them more of a distinctive treasure and a conversation piece.

Ingo, Thanks man.

Robert C, Hey, how much longer you think for me before my car starts talking to me I would like to hear how my shifting is I'm getting a 6pack/beer tonite after work Thanks.

Steve, I'm slowly convincing the wife to let me put the 993 in the living room as the center piece, beside the coffee table So I could watch speed channel siting in it too Tnx.

Mike,

Truly beautiful! Somehow, I never tire of looking at 993 pics, and yours is a gorgeous shot! Among all the gazillion rims out there, I find the simplicity of the MY02 rims, and the RS rims (my all-time fave), the most attractive and the most complimentary to the lines of our cars. Enjoy!!!...Now go wring it out

Mike,
Just listen, she's talking.... you're just not hearing it yet......listen......yeah now you can hear it (cap comes off yet another beer) You've heard of the horse whisperer?? I'm the 993 whisperer!!! And it sounds like poor Miraculix needs my help something fierce right now. We need to help him find the problem on that car, man what a bummer...

Seriously though, the living room is not that big of a deal, it's when you ask the wife if the 993 can sleep with the two of you that she's going to turn into a pistol!! Be careful...

Slippery slope!!
