Cool some Pictures in the first spring sun

Actually, wife told me to mow the backyard lawn this morning OR ELSE she's not letting me go to anymore fun drives! I guess she noticed the grin on my face since I came back from the drive yesterday afternoon. So, I thought I'll break out the camera again after I followed her orders. Pulled the car in the back yard and fired away...Just don't tell her I left tire marks all over the lawn

Steve and John, Thanks for the kind words. It felt good to be out in the sun with the 993 in the scene!

They're not tire marks in the grass...I think they call it grooming...run them in a checkered/cross pattern and it will look like you really put in some effort...

The 996 wheels are so perfect on a 993...I think I read someone's post that they look better on our 993s than they do on the 996s they were designed for...I agree...great pics....

Dave, Hey good idea! Make those checkered flag pattern lines

Derrick & Dave, I've hunted those wheels relentlessly for about 6 months looking for the best deal. Love them. Thanks for the compliments.

I can see that it came very close to being watercooled..

Nice car, there is something special about white Porsches.

Anders & WSP993,

I've originally wanted anything other than white, but I've received lots of compliments like yours that really keep me from regreting the color. I appreciate. Thank you much ~Mike

Dont do it Mike! Dont drive her into the lake. Just Kidding

I have been itching to get her out too. One day sunny 55 the next 27 and snow!!!

My buddy had an 87 White and a 97 C2S white they were beautiful. Some thing about the lines in white was special indeed.

Mike,

Your back yard slopes down into a lake? That's my dream setting for a house. Beautiful car, beautiful house, beautiful dog, beautiful wife, I'm 'green' with envy.

Mike,

Great pics. The ones with your car facing towards the lake makes me a bit nervous. Car looks fantastic!

This was the first weekend I've had my 993 with somewhat decent weather. Got thru the MD inspection (everything went OK). Then brought it home, washed it, and proceeded to take some pics. Then took it out for a drive to start to get familiar with it. Needless to say I had a blast. Hope to post my pics soon as well.

CMMTracknut, Suwipin, CP & TYNUSKT, Thanks for the compliments! Hope the next 2 days of cold weather is the last of them, so we could all go on to our driving business. Post some pix of your babies, I will never get tired of looking at them!

Here's one more..

what a sweet car - great pictures... great background. Damn you're lucky, your wife lets you get away with driving the car around the yard?
