Subject car seems to be a very nice example in very nice condition, nicely optioned and low miles. I am sure someone will appreciate it and be willing to pay a little extra to own it.
How many miles on yours Boomboom?

I think the starting number for this car is a bit high to enthusiasts on Rennlist. Even the Cab is worth less money outside the forum is not a cost deduct issue. What we are not factoring in is the emotion of buying and a clean low mile car that presents like this one will sell high, very high. Many just want a 993, clean , no drama to drive, Cab or Coupe.

While I agree with most the pricing is on the aggressive side I do think we're entering a new era with these cars. If someone really wanted a low miles cab or specific 993 (color, miles etc) the limited selection puts sellers in the drivers seat. They just need to wait it out till someone comes alone who wants it bad enough to pay the premium. God knows they're not making more and condition of existing examples (overall) will continue to decline.

I’d say price is in the upper range but not unreasonable. This can has low mileage, Varioram and sport seats and Porsche Classic radio so very well optioned.

Really? Reviewing BaT real world selling prices (which are on the high end mind you) there have been (11) 993 convertibles sold in 2021.
Ten of those ranged between $33k-$63k. Average price is around $50k. There was one anomaly, collector grade car with under 20k miles on it which sold for $72k. Just curious what is considered a reasonable offer if one is asking almost $80k? Is $50-60k reasonable (I would say yes).

NOT COOL IMO
If you don't want to buy it, move to the next thread (so says a guy who would probably never buy a 993 convertible)

It's a forum and he posted a thread, hence we are discussing. I didn't reply on his ad. Those interested in a 993 convertible can discuss the actual sale there.
Personally, what I think is not cool, is having 3 posts on Rennlist, 2 of which are in this thread and the other is his actual ad and setting an an "out there" price while saying "serious offers only". This isn't Craigslist. This is a community of people who know what these cars sell for daily. It's somewhat insulting.

Even if he doesn't have a ton of posts, he knows people looking, will look here.
The market/people will let him know what the true value is.
I say go for it. If someone doesn't see the value, they will move on.

I think you guys are totally off base.
Factory sports seats are worth ~$12K.
If you subtract the value of the sport seats from the price of the car is it still expensive?
Would you view a $67K asking price for 31K clean car high??? I don’t. I’m fine with the asking price. Seems in line to me.

Yes, I think $67K for a convertible with no seats is way too high!!
If you sell those seats for $12k, you have zero seats according to math. Then what? ![Stick Out Tongue](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
Presumably one would replace the seats, which then still makes this the highest priced 993 convertible, even more that the $72K one with half the miles. I wanted to walk away, really, but you just pulled me back in Mike. Don't forget that on BaT, within the last 60 days, these cars have sold for half this price. The ones with really nice options and low miles have sold for under $65, the others 35-50. Seats included, BTW.![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
(I'm being cute btw, not argumentative. This is just some back and forth bro talk here.)
