I vote 7-spoke also. The car looks faster just sitting there.

I'm with the majority here, the 7 spoke looks great.

My vote is for the lighter ones, as long as they will support the stresses of track events(if you go to the tracks).

I really like the 7 spoke. I checked the link you provided, and after a little bit of searching, found the car you showed and also some more pictures. This link shows the wheel in a little more detail...

Information about manufacturer would be helpful.

I gotta admit I generally hate aftermarket wheels on cars, but those 5 spoke Enkeis look very nice (I can't believe I said that). Can you provide a link to the gallery that pic came from (the link farther up didn't work). I guess I'm in the minority on this one.

Kinesis is selling a 19" version of that Japanese wheel. Although, theirs is a 10-spoke, it is also made by the same factory as both SAC and Champion wheels. Kinesis says they're working on getting an 18" version as well.

I have to go against the seven spoke grain here...I think I'm just a five spoke guy...I like the 5 lug/5 spoke geometry as well as the greater open area to see the brakes.

Frankly both are variations of cool...let us know what you decide.

I hate to vote with the majority, but I think I favor the 7 spoke also.

Default They're both quite nice

I like the five spoke more because they're not quite as busy looking, and somehow the the bigger spokes seem to harmonize more with the large "tail" on your car. But as I said, both are quite nice.

I agree that both are sweet, but for the 993 I would pick the 5-spoke. It's probably the traditionalist in me, but the 5-spoke looks more like it belongs on the car.
I look at the 7-spoke and immediately think "aftermarket". The 5 looks like an improvement on the original.

Just my opinion.

Use the link w/o the index wording.... www.e-tire.co.jp

Majority of the vote here go to the seven spokes....BUT.....the "Majority" votes from my wife...and daughter....go to the five spoke..... :-) now I am in trouble!

My car is still in the shop and would coming out until two weeks later....I have already asking my buddy to hold on to the 7 spokes, so that I can put it on see how it actually look with the sp yellow and in real life. I will also take some picture and post it....so if it looks good then all of us have an extra choice if it is a mistake then everyone wouldn't fall into it.... :-O

Oh but weight saving is so so tempting, it will save over 35lb compare to the turbo twist (solid spokes) that I am using now! and now we are talking about huge saving on unsprung weight! And in addition I am putting on the Sparco Roadster seats and together it will save near 100lb. Lovely isn't it....
