Best place to get big reds?

George,
Before you switch, run some cooling ducts and see if that helps. I ran the "small" brakes on my race car for a while and never had a problem even during races. I switched because I wanted to make my car RS-spec and even though they are better it is an expensive proposition because the pads and rotors are a fair bit more expensive as well.

Sorry, neither theirs or mine was clear. The set up that I was talking about is for the front only with quality pads, new hardware and SS lines. That is the fancy kit. If you guys want just the big reds and the rotors the package for ALL FOUR is 1900.00. They bolt right on. Add another 108.00 if you want pads. I guess that works out to be the same as Crescent. No real savings other than supporting a Rennlist sponsor

That's my goal too! The RS I never could buy originally! I go to Gert's web site and drool... (maybe not actually that bad but close).

My mechanic got them from SSF (parts wholesaler) and they weren't much if any less than that.

OK PHD you sold me- I'll try to call you tomorrow. I'm really looking for Hawk or Pagid race pads. Assume I would need different backing plates too.

Crescent's deal is soup to nuts--calipers, rotors, new pads, front caliper bolts, and wear sensors. Did mine a year ago.
