The insert above the door handle does it pull out?
I want to recover my insert above the door handle in suede does anyone know if it pulls out or do you need to remove the whole door panel? Thanks for any help. <img border="0" alt="[bigbye]" title="" src="graemlins/xyxwave.gif" />

GTR;
From memory there are 7 rivets that are holding the insert to the door panel. You would have to remove the whole door panel. By the way the panel is made out of wood, then covered.

GTR,
I recently had my inserts recovered, removal of the door panel is not necessary. (I learned the hard way by taking off the drivers side, figured it out and did the pass. side in 3 minutes. The entire insert actually slides into place. Just loosen the two allen head bolts holding the lower part of thedoor handle in place, and remove the third one at the top of the door handle. The panel is held in place with about eight slide type tension clips (panel slides toward door opening).

Where is the 3rd screw???
Im embarassed to say I cant find the 3rd screw to remove the door insert. I've got the 2 allen screws under the door pull but I can not locate this one that is on the upper part of the handle.
I have the hi-fi option, is it hidden in some way by that trim????
thanks

Justin, take the Hi-Fi cover off. Under the front part of the door handle there is a third allen head screw. I can show you next week if needed, my panels are off now so you can see. I can actually take a panel off in about 3 minutes if not in a hurry. Less than that if my GF wants me doing something else _right now_
