I've been going back and forth on deciding what kit to use to lower my C2. I don't ever plan to track my car but I definitely want to lower it. I also don't want to spend high 2k's to set it and forget it. How low / what kind of adjustment can you get out of the Koni Actives with M033/M030s? I believe the rear cannot be adjusted but to be honest I don't think the US spec in the rear is that bad, the front is terribly high though. If you can't adjust close to RS specs with the Konis I may look at KW1's since I don't feel the need to adjust the dampening or want to spend high 2K's for a kit.
If you’re doing the install yourself, Koni SA with RoW springs (M030 or M033) will still run you $2k minimum when it’s all said and done. You’re going to run into components that need replacement and will need an alignment. If you’re hiring out the work, add another $1k. I just did the install myself and just scheduled the alignment, so don’t even know what the set up feels like yet, but it will certainly be better than the old stock suspension it’s replacing. Good luck.

Heights are same, just different spring rates, M033 is more of the sport option. I just included the both springs with Koni Actives since there the same height spring.
I installed the Koni Active and M033 springs in my '96. The cost of both was just under $1300 delivered, from Jason at Paragon. It lowered the car about 1-1/2". The rear is fixed height, and the front I used the same location for the adjustable ring/mount as were on the old Monroe shocks. I have about 2 degree "rake" towards the front, measured on the door sill. While in there you might consider new upper mounts, bump stops as most are split, and front control arm bushings. I found that the car is a lot firmer, not uncomfortably firm, but very noticeable. Being at that height there is a slight bit of low speed bump steer, any lower and the correcting tie rod ends would be needed. Im very happy with mine, took about 5 hours at home, and was just under $2000 with a full alignment, FCA bushings, bump stops and upper mounts.

Any idea on how the spring rate difference translates into how the car feels, is it firmer? more responsive? etc?Originally Posted by NeinNeinThree

Only from what I've read, the M033 is a stiffer ride than the M030's

From Gert’s Carnewal site description of the two springs:
“What's the difference between the M033 and the M030 springs?
The M030 is a sport suspension. The M030 springs will make the ride lower and sportier while the M033 springs will lower the car the same amount but it will remain comfortable just like the stock springs.”

Hi NeinNeinThree,
Here is a chart covering ride heights and how to measure them:
https://993servicerepair.blogspot.co...ght-chart.html
Here is some thought on sub $2000 H&R Coilover solution with rear ride height adjustment:
https://993servicerepair.blogspot.co...uspension.html
Hope you find the above useful,
Andy

FWIW...this is the setup (M033) I went with about five years ago. I love the height, the handling and the ride...and it didn't break the bank.
