i was wondering what the square recessed area on the factory cell phone console was for. you usually see a porsche creast on it.

i was wondering if it was a cut out for something else that was another option?

can a nav or dvd screen be put in there? or ???

 

The was supposed to be a nav system that they were intending to supply, but they never offered it. I had one of these consoles, and it was a pain. It really restrict movement of your leg because it sticks out so far...

The opening is very small. Most nav systems today at 2-3x the size in the console. Plus, you have to look down from the road too far to even see it...

any other good use for the hole? i dont like the crest as i will have one on the steering wheel also.

 

Doc....that's a pricey piece of plastic console huh ? I looked into getting one myself and if I recall....it was over a grand ??
