Any after market shifters for 993?
I have a 98 C2S and would like to replace the factory slush shifter for something more firm/precise. I know B & M makes one for the 996, but can't find anything for the 993. Has anyone replaced their shifter?

Evolution Motorsports makes a reasonably priced short-shift kit for the 993, as do several other outfits. Plan on a couple of hours labor on the install. It's worth doing.

Not sure if you're looking for a shifter **** or a short shift kit. If it is the latter, here's one that works great:
You can find it at <a href="http://www.schatzmotorsport.com/Merchant/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=78650&Product_Code=150+SKX&Category_C ode=354" target="_blank">Schatz Motorsport</a>

"Slush shifter"????? Drive a pre-'87 911; you'll never complain about your 993 again!!!!!!!!
I changed to a short shifter on my '84; decreased travel but increased effort - also increased the number of missed shifts by making the shift pattern narrow and hard to hit. Just a word to the wise.
