Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
My P-car is an every third day or so daily driver and often driven in the warm liquid sunshine characteristic of the West Coast.
Don't get me wrong I like to drive this car hard. My P-Zero's are done.
Anyone driving on the MP Sport A/S as opposed to the MP Sport.

Just orchestrated a modified search and found further threads. The opinions range from "crap" to "ok" - not exactly a ringing endorsement. Sounds like Pilot Sport is the good better best option and then decide later what to do in the rain.

My tire shop here claims that there is a pulling issue with the A/S pilot sports. Can't really comment from personal experience though.
I think the pilot sports will be fine for you. Just don't try any trailing throttle oversteer on those rainy days!

Try the Bridgestone S-03's or the Toyo T1-S's. They're both good rain tires. The Bridgestones are better handling but the Toyos are a great value for the minor difference. The Toyo's may also last longer.

I ran the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S here in Pennsylvania during the winter with no complaints. For street use I think they are fine. OTOH, I do not think they are significantly better in the rain than the Pilot Sport - it's when it gets cold that there's a benefit to the A/S's.
