Question Gerts Front Protection Bar

Hi all,

Ive just had the turbo bumper put on to my 993c2.

I want to order the P93FPB but am a bit concerned.

Having looked at the example photo on the website the two screws on the
edge seem to fit correctly onto the bumper because the place where the screw fits seems to stick out slightly.

However on my bumper the hole where the screw would fit doesnt come down as far so it looks like there may be some space between the FPB and the screw hole.

Should be fine?

Thx.

The kit comes with 2 thick rubber washers.

I swapped to a Turbo bumper 2 weeks ago ..... installed Gert's protection bar ... piece of a cake ... fits right on .... tailor-made !

3 minutes install.

Hi Bins,

Sounds good. Can you let me know when you have fitted it so that I can see it plus the new nose of course!

No news on baby yet - any day now...

Cheers,

David

Dave,

Desperately need it.
Soon as I got the car back to Pinner last night, I scraped the bottom of the bumper.
Felt so 'stoopid'

Unhappy

Doh!

If it's any consolation I scraped the bottom of my old nose within one hour of buying the car when I parked in a car park and drove my wheels up to the edge of the curb... Not quite so much clearance as my old five series!

Cheers,

David

Sods Law.
At least it helped me decide whether to get Gerts FPB.
I didnt realise the ground clearance was any different.

It looks much more modern, even on the darker colors.

Yes, it's not so bitty looking and let's face it the normal nose does look a little wimpy in comparison...

See you soon.

I don't know how anyone could drive one of our cars (with the exception of stock U.S. suspension) without one of Gert's bars!? The peace of mind that it provides is many X's what the thing costs.

I haven't got one yet but I'm beginning to think it might be worth it. I still have non-sport suspension so I look a bit like a four wheel drive compared to everyone else...

Bins,

Gert's FPB is awesome. It is incredibly well made and does a great job protecting the lower side of your front bumper. I distribute Gert's FPB over here in the states. I sell quite a few to folks getting new lowered suspensions installed. I also have one on my car....

Hey ViperBob,

How much is the FPB? I'll probably consider it when I do my suspension.
