Link for frameless screen?
My link to the 993 forum without the side and top frames no longer works after John's recent update. Does anyone know if it is possible to load the forum page without these space wasting frames and if so the link address?

You can right click the page, then choose properties, you'll see the actual URL there.
Here it is for your convience also:
<a href="http://forums.rennlist.com/cgi-bin/rennforums/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=forum&f=3&DaysPrune=30" target="_blank">http://forums.rennlist.com/cgi-bin/rennforums/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=forum&f=3&DaysPrune=30</a>

That corresponds the the drop down that says "Show topics from the last XX days".
Looks like some common values for XX are:
1
2
5
10
20
30
45
60
100
.... etc
I bet you'd get a little better performace if you set the prune number to a smaller number rather than a larger number.

The URL changed with the new format. Here's the link I use which seems to load much faster than the one above.
<a href="http://forums.rennlist.com/forums/ultimatebb.php?ubb=forum&f=3" target="_blank">http://forums.rennlist.com/forums/ultimatebb.php?ubb=forum&f=3</a>

So, as long as we're looking for links, here's my yet unanswered post to the Feedback Forum:
[quote]Hi John
So where did you put the old 993/996 Board archives? They are not at the old URL <a href="http://boards.rennlist.com/cgi-bin/993/993.pl" target="_blank">http://boards.rennlist.com/cgi-bin/993/993.pl</a> <hr></blockquote>
Anyone know the current link?

I thought I'd leave it on the FB Forum awhile & not bother him w/email just yet. I'm sure he's up to his eyeballs right now w/upgrade related stuff. I hope those old archives aren't lost.

Here's John D's response to my earlier 993/996 archives post on the Feedback Forum:

Sorry about that..!! Actually - all the archives are safe and sound - and in fact, are both on the new server as well as the previous server.. Honestly - I just haven't had the time yet to set up the virtual directory on the new server and point the code for all the archives into those directories (they won't work, otherwise ). Anyway - I have the archives from all the old boards - 993/996,924/944/951, 914, 928...
I'll get them going again when I get a little bit of a break from finishing up this upgrade for the live systems - which all has to take place in my spare time from my "real" job.. </strong><hr></blockquote>
