Default I got my wife to be a beliver in "drive it like you stole it"

I brought the car around to rinse of the dust (see picture) from the long winter. She was headed out and said, "Oh, I'll take the Porsche then".

I haven't even tried out the new 3 spoke wheel yet! So I said: "drive it like you stole it" "It's good for the car" Well, she doesn't have to be told twice. She went ripping down the street. Sounded good. I am glad I had it running while I rinsed it off. I had the battery disconnected and they need 20 minutes or so to start acting right.

Here is a picture of the dust issue. It looks like I use it for a runout table for the saw which is close to the truth. I have another table saw now that is used on the jobsite so the car won't get dusted anymore.

OUCH...that hurts....I can't bear to see the dust...just can't look at it.....get it off...get it off NOW !!!!

Glad to hear the wife isn't gun shy with the throttle. You gotta love an aggressive woman behind the wheel !!!!!

Seriously, dust and Porsche....they don't go together....it's like mixing oil and water....eeeewwwww......

Bruce,

It's not so much the dust that bothers me as the proximity of the table to your 993! Kinda crazy.

It is WAY too close in that shot. I usually move the car out to do a bunch of work with the saw. What happens a lot of the time is that there is need for a "quick " cut and it is not worth it to fire up the car to move it for a 30 second table saw cut.

I solved it by buing a portable and cheap (but dang nice) table saw that is much easier to take to where I need it or just set up in the driveway.

When I have a lot to do, I just move the car. I would love to have as much space a akalodesh (sp?).

Now that is some garage and shop space!
