Uhhh... that sounds like we all have to cough up a few bucks for the purchase. Are you thinking of making this a time-share?

Good luck in your search. Rennlist rocks.

Hey Arrwin, check the inventory at Motorwerks outside of Chicago...
http://porsche.motorwerks.com

There's a "burgundy" 97 there.

Huge dealership. I bought my car from them (I'm in Seattle - found it thru Cars.com) and they were easy to deal with.

Cheers.

Beezr,

Thanks for the lead. They had contacted me regarding this vehicle a couple of weeks ago. I had them send me a carfax, but wasn't comfortable with the history at all.

If anyone is looking at this vehicle, I would stay away. I have the carfax, so let me know if you need it.

Peter,

I received it a couple of days again, but could of sworn I replied back to you but didn't see it on the PM tracker. Sorry about that. You have PM now.

Please let me know if you don't receive it.

Thanks.

Late to the thread, and looks like Arrwin is already sold on Arena Red, but here are a couple pics of my Targa (the second pic more just me playing with my photo editor...). Only major mods are the Euro Turbo front bumper and Gert's FPB.

Arrwin,

Not sure if you found something already but I just got back from the Dealer out here in Northern California. And they have a 97 C4S Arena Red with Grey interior. 19.5K miles. They are asking $52,000.00 but they'll take high $40K. I saw the car and it's definitely a clean car. One owner, bought from the dealer and had all the service done by the same dealer.

Claridge's, LTD.
510-623-1111

SR name is Charles he's on the Porsche side of the house.

(I have no affliation with Claridge's just passing the word)

Good Luck!

Thanks for the lead CAHRERA. I think I'll give them a call on Monday.

Arrwin,

I would definitely check out the car if you're really serious. We have a number of Bay Area Rennlisters that I'm sure wouldn't mind checking the car out for you.

It's a sweet Virgin C4S with no Mods. All original, I didn't get to take a really close look at but it presents very nicely. I would be really interested to seeing what other Rennlisters might say about the car. You got nothing to lose.

If I didn't have my C2S I would be really interested in this car.

Good Luck!
