Default Couldn't resist...

While I had a 93RSA at my house yesterday, installing Bilstein HD's and other misc. maintenance, I couldn't resist having two cool cars together in a picture..

Beautiful day yesterday as me and a few buddies spent the entire day at California Speedway BS'ing with Rennlisters and PCA/POC club members. Got to say hi to many, but didnt catch up with Motion.

I think I met Max (ca or canada). Silver C2S with RUF wheels? I spoke to you while in the parking lot. Didnt make the connection until later.. Oh well....next time for sure!

hi Chris...yeah, that would have been me (and my car)
Sorry that I did not make the connection either.
I got to meet Kary993, and saw his beautiful winged arena red car. (the wing tipped me off)
Speaking of missed connections; I snapped a pic of a white car by Kary's spot and when looking at the pictures this morning wondered if it was Martin S. ????

Yep, thats Martin with his car. Another guy named Eric (I didnt get a chance to meet him this year) has a white 993 almost identical to Martins

Max, I had on a Andial T-shirt with my PCA name badge. My buddy Gerry was the one who was talking with you about your RUF wheels (and how heavy they are)

Yeah, thats it.....gold anodize!!

But here in SoCal, the smog keeps my centercaps turning and not pointing correctly to the valve stem

Talk about lack of detail, sheesh, whats wrong with me...I should have caught that before the picture

I took the liberty, Chris. Took care of a few unsightly imperfections in that driveway, as well

Hope you Orange County guys can make the Breakfast Club next Saturday at Hof's Hut in Tustin. "8ish."

I was out there on Saturday, but was mostly with friends who were running a SC in DE and the Aase Motors group, so unfortunately I missed seeing you.

The noontime Track Tour was fun - first time I even had them tell us to go faster! I looked once and saw 115+.

Of course, unless it is 'imported' rust.

The tail on my car...326 is my car, is from Getty design. It is a 993RS tail. The side splitters skirts and front splitters are from Gert Carnewal.

We just finished up three (3) days at California Speedway. We had eight run sessions of approximately 30 minutes each. That's four (4) hours of track time on my calculator. Each lap takes approximately 2 minutes...that is 120 laps, at about 2.75 miles...over 300 miles at speed.

Each lap had a trip down the main straight of California Speedway, the high banking from turn 1 through turn 2, and about 1/3 of the way down the back straight. At that point we were going 135 to 140 mph...then we had to throw out the anchor and get the car back to 2nd gear for a turn into the in-field track...very technical and extremely fun. I saw Mark from Hermosa, Chris Walrod, David from Manhattan Beach and his lovely wife and two kids, and pitted with Kary and neighbor Rennlister Eric.

PCA and POC are coming back in May, 14, 15 and 16.
