I think Singers are beautifully made and the attention to detail is outstanding. I’ve seen many in person (including the out of this world Singer DLS), and they look fantastic.
However, if I was going to spend that amount of money on one “hot rodded” 911 it would be a Ruf SCR:
I've examined a few of them over the years and build quality on each is a hit or miss. And yes, I've taken pics...
That's never the case with a Porsche that came off the assembly line

singer is a singer not a porsche (I don't mean it as a negative)
they are beautifully done
while the cost is high, there are many other boutique that build this type of cars at more than singer, WOW, yes I know.
singers do trade very close to 1mm lately
do they worth that $, I do not know, my wallet cannot support that.
but many singers owners I know have 10+ car... and by that I mean stuff less than $500k they don't bother counting...
and fly their own jets... for them, it's just an experience, just to try.
much like I buy a $400 steak to try, if I dont like it, meh... it's $400 wasted. I can deal with that.
there are guys out there with rounding error bigger than the price of singers...
so maybe to them, it's worth it, I don't know until I fly my own G8 haha
yes for $1mm they can buy many other cars, but they already have 918, cgt, 959, LaF, gullwing, F1... literally running out of cars to buy...
Perhaps a case can be made for the merely affluent to own a singer and it is this: buy it for the $1mil it's asking and enjoy for a couple years. Row the dice because it may be worth $1.3 by then (aided in no small part by central banks all over the world printing money w/ abandon which in short leads to asset inflation of every sort).
Personally, I love 'em. I have seen a couple in person and I love attention to detail, subtle but substantial changes that blend so well together. As for price, the market speaks. If they can sell everyone they build, then clearly there is a market. I applaud the vision and execution.
Nice cars and appreciate the craftsmanship but a bit over done at this point.
Wish I had the type of problems that people who are willing to pay $1MM for a $200k car have. For example, deciding whether to burn my money in the fireplace tonight or outside in the fire pit.
I have heard the quality varies greatly car to car. I know there are those folks that could afford anything. My thought was when you think about how many very nice cars a million dollars could buy, a reimagined 964, which is a pretty simple car to begin with, seems beyond silly at a million bucks.

I’d happily drive one if I won it in a raffle!
If I'm buying a Singer at $1m then I already own all the other cars I could ever want.
I do like them - a 400 HP 4.0 liter in a 2700 lb car must be a blast to drive.
