Thanks Keven, not likely till I get a new hip

just for giggles here are the streetable /30s which anyone would be thrilled w/

and all the /30s including RSR /34 which isn't particularly street friendly and suffers here from lower torque #s, the lower rev range as well as the shorter tires used

I have a ROW /21 gearbox in my 993.

I was driving a 993 for a few years with a US spec gearbox, and I vividly remember the test drive with the /21. The shift from first to second is the big difference - second gear is immediate and it’s very noticeable how peppy and alive the car feels. The first time you shift into second is a holy cow moment.

My 993 also has an RS clutch and lightweight flywheel. Combined with MY’02 lightweight wheels the car goes through the revs really well. These mods complement each other well and you should consider them if you get the gearing.

There are other gearing options that may be better (RS, custom, etc), but the /21 gearbox is a very noticeable and a very positive improvement vs OE.

Highly recommend. Good luck with the car.
