Thread renew!

Anyone know if this pricey ECS tuning shifter is weighted as nice as the carbon Tequipment one?? It says it is the hard to find Tequipment one. I know the C2S version is not weighted like the Tequipment one but wondering if this leather version is still as nicely weighted as the carbon one for anyone that has tried both. Thanks

I have the leather (non carbon fiber) Tequipment version and it’s nicely weighted. Feels nice to the touch being metal and not chintzy. Haven’t used the carbon version, so can say how it compares.

The one in the link above, is that being offered as legit Tequipment or replica? I don’t think it’s clear from the description.

I agree it is pretty unclear. And why wouldn’t Suncoast offer it and ONLY ECS Tuning.

I imagine thats a one off NOS piece.

I will have some excellent repro units available in the next month or so, probably half the price of that one!

I will keep you posted!!

I will arrange a group buy when they are available

They will be like the ones in the photo above ie; satin alloy insert and not the chrome insert the very early ones had

They will be available in all Porsche leather colors too!

Agreed! Probably one of my best part swaps. My car came with carbon fiber **** (light) and e-brake, swapped straight up for aluminum bits. I didn’t realize the weight difference before I agreed it. Shifter feels much better with it now.

@911PERVY This is really great to hear. I had original, never installed, still wrapped in factory plastic Techquipment Shifter in Classic Grey along with matching ebrake. They were stolen from a shop by a fired employee.
I've been in a lot of denial about the loss as I had sourced them back in 2006 and still had not installed.
Definitely want to know more about your repro parts!
Will you be doing a matching e-brake?
