@akrca4 Did you install Morimoto projector lens and keep OEM Litronic gear and halogen high beam. Can you explain what you installed? Did you have to do any cutting or drilling?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thanks.
It was two years ago I did this, but I don't remember I had to cut or drill anything. I use the new H1 bulbs but reuse the OEM ballasts. I found in my old email the list of parts below I got from "The Retrofit Source" website, hope this helps!Originally Posted by Black993s

Thanks for the quick reply. I think what you ordered is plug and play within the headlight unit but not 100% sure. Have message into The Retrofit Source with questions.
I'm also mocking up different mounting methods to use Tore's high beam kit with OEM Litronics. Will know soon if this will work.

I bought the Tore high beam kit last week, and it arrived yesterday...VERY quick service!
The downside: It turns out the new high beam kit is incompatible with the older version of the Tore low beam kit I have installed on my 993. So I had to buy a new V3 low beam kit to them to work together. Not only missed out on the compatibility, but ended up paying more for two individual kits instead of the bundle. If you've upgraded your headlights to Tore before, it's worth taking the time to verify which version you have installed before ordering.
The upside: Once I get everything done, I'll have a perfectly fine Tore upgrade kit (older version, lowbeam only) available for giveaway to anyone who's local and would be okay with just a low beam Tore headlight kit.

Sorry for the newb question as this kit is news to me. Help me out:
1. So all I need it the "full kit" (that was referenced by Bobby in the first post) and this will improve my low and high beams?
2. I need nothing else, this complete kit is all that is required? Including no modification to my headlight bodies?
3. Straightforward installation? Approx time?
Thanks all ...really interested in this
Edward

Hi Edward,
It is indeed a full kit, high and low beams, nothing else required. It took me a couple of hours, but this was the first install done in the US, and I was going slowly, taking notes and pictures to provide feedback to Tore.
You may want to download the installation instructions, which will give you a much better idea of the entire process. It is in two separate documents, but you can save money by ordering both high and low beams as a kit.
Low beam instructions are here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1M0Z...WdTrBxncc/view
High beam instructions are here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jy2...I5otSSd0g/view

So is the high beam kit NOT compatible with the low beam kit I installed a few years ago?
Is there an advantage to just getting the bundle if I already have the low beam kit?
The low beam kit was a great upgrade, looking forward to getting high beams too or both kits if even better.

Thanks guys!
We recommend upgrading to T-LIGHT v3 when using it with the High Beam kit for two reasons: The increased light output of v3, and the mounting of the high beam LED Driver unit.
We have not been able to make or supply a fastening method that would work for both v2 and new v3 T-LIGHT low beam kits. It is possible to use our new High Beam kit with our previous low beam kit. However, the LED Driver will be placed a bit over the HID ballast unit, and not possible to fix properly.
This mounting will not be as stable as the intention, and you have to watch out that it does not swing out of position when you close the headlight lid.
Cheers,
Tore

I gather that, from this comment and from one of Tore's posts that the new high beam may be compatible with a later version of their HID low beam(?). If so, how would I know which version of the HID low beam I have? I recall purchasing the HID kit a little over a year ago.Originally Posted by Mr.Woolery
