NP.
5k kms per would still be almost a daily driver in the summer (minus rainy days) given that most people average 12k-15k kms for a daily driver car.
Just one more note and you might know this already, paint depth can be measured in mm or mils. If you are told numbers like 7-11, it is likely mils. (I think 0.1mm is like 4 mils.) You probably also know that there is a variance in standard paint depth which has been discussed at length on RL and elsewhere.

no I didn’t know that. Checked email again on the car I was taking about, he said mils. The variance yes.

Weekend bump. Why not think about selling your 993? Provided it fits the bill in post #1

I've had -some- luck with.
Searching forums for cars I was looking for and reaching out directly to owners. Wanted ad in classifieds had more response than the same in model specific forum. Best of luck!

Maybe revisit the 97 one on BaT? The seller got a PPI done at a dealer but no LD or comp test. Arena red isn't your first choice but you did say red in post #1.
Have you checked out the one at Toronto Auto Brokers?
Also, are you a member of PCA or PCAUCR?
This might have to test your patience. You might wait for the one you really love but the market price is subject to change (and the FX rate can change too).
Since you budgeted for an S model, you likely have less competition vs the base models which is a good thing.

I have been exploring a 97 C2S but the high tag is not making it a slam dunk. Giving it thought over the weekend for a conditional offer upon satisfactory PPI. But I have a few other leads as well if that doesn’t pan out.

don’t think I’ve seen this car, will check.
yes member of PCA, I have an ad posted on PCA.org. Nothing from it yet and no new listings there. Surprised how dry it is, but spring is coming.
A $110k car quickly becomes $170k in our dollars. I looked into the CETA agreement and apparently does t apply to cars imported through the US despite country of manufacture, so 6.1% duty. You must have gotten lucky?
