Beautiful to see it rebuilt rather than parted. Good luck!

radies, you saved a 993 that would otherwise be parted. Big time admiration. Please keep us posted on progress...

At the moment the car is stretched on
the frame because it was shorter by
2 cm after it had been hit. At the
moment, everything has been restored to the factory condition and after
the first fit, we start welding after
the original connections. If it was
a regular carrera, I would have
skipped the reconstruction, but the S
version is worth saving. There is an
idea for the 964 targa in my head, but in Europe there is a problem with the availability of the rear window. Do you know where in the USA you can buy used parts for 993 and 964? Or maybe some of you have a used box housing for the 993

and would like to sell? Shipping would be to Chicago to my friend.

LADismantlers have a lot of parts. Prices are on the high side but if you can't find it anywhere else.

Why do we need to say this over and over...just no to anything from LA dismantlers.
...But, extremely cool project and a pretty interesting coincidence to have both the photo of the car on the truck and the buyer/restorer on the same thread!
