"tri-tiptronic"! Good one oldguy. When can you get some physical therapy in your beautiful TT?

June 5th, a Saturday looks good to me...I'll be up in Paso Robles that weekend. If anyone has the urge to do farm labor, working in a vineyard, the Friday prior, let me know. I am certain we can find something for you to do. By that time maybe I'll have learned how to drive my tractor, a New Holland cab enclosed turbo model. Now this is a ride!!!

A turbo model?? Hmmm, what kind of turbo. I'll bet we could do some work to it and you'll get done a LOT faster in the vineyard...

Carlos4S,

To determine which team you are on, use this simple rule:

If your latitude is > 35deg 33' 15", you are a SoCal team member. < 35deg 33' 15", you are NorCal. If your latitude is exactly 35deg 33' 15", then you are already in Cambria, and need to buy a round for both teams.

Welcome to the SoCal team.

Lets start organizing the SoCal team meeting points. ViperBob will do this same thing for the NorCal guys. I will propose that we have a few meeting points along the way to pick up the locals and the people (like Carlos) that will be coming a long way. I think we will need the following points:

San Diego
Orange County
Malibu
Ventura
Santa Barbara
Pismo Beach

We will need a volunteer at each of the meeting points to act as coordinator for that spot. I'll take the Ventura spot. The task of the coordinators is to scope out a good meeting spot and publish it. FbFisher, with his new suspension, can determine what time each group needs to get started. Coordinators should post or email their cell numbers to the other coordinators. My cell is (805)217-6304. My email is (surprise, surprise) ca993twin@yahoo.com. OK... I need volunteers for the other spots!!!!

DmitryS... welcome aboard with your "ringer" 924. Watch for info from ViperBob on meeting spots for your team.

Fred... can you help with the time coordination? Also help determine the route from San Diego to Malibu. From Malibu we'll take PCH (1) N. to 101 (merges at Ventura), and take the 1 at San Luis Obispo up to Cambria.

ViperBob... time to get your paltry NorCal team organizied. I can taste that free beer already!

Agent325... are you getting any requests for lodging at Cambria Pines?

What am I forgetting?

June 5th. A date that will live in infamy. May the spirit of the Valentine keep us safe from speeding violations.

Steve OFE,

Hey, I'm in Santa Clarita. Where should I plan on hooking up with you, Moorpark area?, or should we make another stop if there are others in my neck of the woods (is so I can coordinate that p/u point. I seem to remember a few from the Palmdale/Lancaster area.

Shant, you coming??

I'll be at the malibu spot. I can coordinate, but I beleive there are plenty of 993 guys that would be much more qualified for the job.

Dmitry, It will be cool to meet you after talking often.

I think its time to post this on EVERY rennlist forum. 914 - GT2/GT3 Who's up for the job? John, feel like doing us a favor? I bet you can get it done much quicker then us. Oh, and I saw your photo John, first, is that your house the photo was taken? were you drunk? oh yea, and sorry for laughing

Cool T-Shirts, meeting, and drinking

Well, Dudes, that T-Shirt design wasn't bad at all!

Because I am a pro artist/writer, I have the ability to make transfers useable onto Black T-shirts!

I'm not sure if we would get into trouble with the logo, if we are not mass producing it. Transfers hold up okay, you just should wash the shirt inside out, then hang it up to dry - or, run it through the dryer on low, whatever.

I can get T-shirts at a decent cost, so the total cost would be fine.

As for this, any gals going along? I don't drink, and I don't want to drive my car that far with a leaking oil cooler seal.

Ergo, I am available to be a Designated Driver, lol!

p.s. - Those teeth are not really on my car - off a Miata, lol.

- Julie

Sounds like a great party. Someone send me a contact and I will send some WheelWax SCHWAG to give to the car that shows up with the best looking wheels. E-mail bruce@wheelwax.com and I will put together a package.
