Today I received 2 used servomotors in good condition, and I replaced the ones on my car.
the third one I managed to repair it with parts from the 2 old servo motors.
all heating motors and functions are working perfect and there are no fault-codes in the CCU anymore.

regards Gert

Im just wondering how the CCU controls the limits of the servo’s.
Does it log the maximum travel and programs a limit on that point.
Or do i have to check the limit and regulate positioning of motors and rocker arms?

The CCU keeps control of the servo movement by a potentiometer position feedback. The servos also has an internal switch arrangement, stopping the servos at the end of travel.
Upon installation of the two 964 mixer servos, the ball link output arm needs careful adjustment so the mechanical flap movement is in line with the servo travel.
The 964/993 defrost servo also needs some adjustment on the cogged joint when installed. The fresh air, foot well and the 993 mixer servos do not need adjustment.
Reassembly of a dismantled servo is another story, then the output arm position must be correctly positioned on the axle/output cogwheel. PARTisans refurbish kit contains a template for this.
Cheers,
Tore

Hi Tore,
Thanks for your reply, if the end switches are in the servo motors then adjustment is needed as they must correspond to the end of travel.
but i noticed that the travel of the footwell-flap is only 60% of the travel of the servo, thats why i wondered if the CCU is controling the correct travel and end stops.
The postion of the output arm is correct, i have carefully marked the position of the arm in relation of the gear with contacts. I'm sure this is 100% correct.
Mixers are set correctly, i have checked them before.
So i only have to check the defrost servo, and assume all the rest is OK?

regards Gert

Hello,
I'm new here , so don't know if i can ask . I see the perfect wiring picture of the Heater AC ? But do you also have one of the alarm system and the turn signals ?
My turn signals dont work anymore , i have 12 V at the Hazard Switch but from there is doesn't get to turn signals , when i open with the remote control of the aftermarkt alarm system, sometimes the turnsignals light up , so i taked out the alarmsystem , but still not working . So i have to find out where the cable from the hazard button to the signal relays is broken ....

Thanks,
Kristof
