Question Sagging exhaust tip left side.

When I got out of my car this morning I noticed that the left exhaust tip was hanging a little lower than the right (noticeably so). I was wondering if these are held in place by one of those small rubber belts from underneath the car. Anyone had this happen?

Thanks,

-Christian

ps - I really like the format of this new board! Very nice!

The tip can be adjusted by loosening the bolt that clamps the Tip onto the exhaust pipe coming from the muffler. You dont need to remove the bolt, just loosen it to the degree that you can move the tip. Get it where you want it and retighten. You should be set. Hope it helps.

The bolts on the exhaust tip get incredibly hot - accordingly, they have a tendency to corrode in place - meaning they can very difficult to get off. Might be a good idea to spray with penetrating oil and leave overnight.

Mine were in fact so corroded on they both snapped rather than turn off ! Easy and cheap to replace (local hardware store) if this happens, so no worries !
