Actually, I just returned from a 180 mile round trip to Cincinnati, and managed to bring my average to 15.2 mpg. I spent a lot of time at 80-90 mph, but tried to keep the revs around 2500-2800 rpm and accelerated more slowly.
Thanks for the R&T figures. Those are not too far off my own, and reassures me. Now that I'm convinced there's nothing wrong with the car (only with me
), I will promptly return to my prior bad habits.
