I know that this is kind of a dumb question, but as you may know we are looking for a 993 Cab to replace the Boxster.

Well, very few seem to have an option my wife really likes - heated seats. Do you have to replace the seats to get these? Can it even be done?

Are there any other options that are nice to have that can be added later?

Yeah, I know heated seats are for sissys, but they are nice to have on a cold morning.

If you want heated seats, you have to change the whole seats because a retrofit is not possible (at least not a factory upgrade). It can't be very difficult to find a pair of used 993 seats with heating from someone who upgraded to 993 Sport seats or the 993 version of the GT3 seats.
Retrofitting these seats in the car is not very difficult.
