I'm looking for a set of front speed sensors. -95 number is 993 606 404 00 and NLA. Is the later version 993 606 405 00
usable and if so what's required to get it to fit up? These are required for my 993rs upright install on my 964.

Used is fine if anyone has a set btw....

As an FYI, we have the same problem with 928's and their ABS sensors NLA.

 

Really a bummer- this is a crucial part.

Call a dealer parts department and ask. Marin Porsche web site says the new part fits my 1996. It also says the new part does not fit a 1994 C2 (have no ideal what 964 model you have) but that part number 944 606 402 02 does

 

Thanks Bob, may be a good alternative. Im using 993rs uprights which span the 95/96 sensor part number change. Sebro makes a more affordable unit for the later models BTW.

I have a 95 and recently ordered a replacement 993 606 405 00. It fit right up into my replacement BBI uprights as well as the stock uprights, so they should fit into the 993rs uprights as well.

There is only one sensor now 99360640500, it fits on any corner. Porsche say early cars may need to be changed in axle pairs but I think that isnt necessary.
