In the right (passenger) footwell, on the outside (right) wall there is a hole or outlet, with a metal piece that looks like some sort of electrical plug. What is it? And what’s called? Anyone know where to get the plastic cover?

Any info would be much appreciated.

Problem solved!!!!!! Found the cover under the driver’s seat. No idea how it got the but my mechanic recently did some engine work and I suspect he dropped it and forgot to put back. Used the part number to figure it out. Rennlist saved my butt - again.

Assuming you have a 1995, that's the obd1 port

OBD1 port is in the driver footwell on the inside wall

Not on mine. If you have the circular kind (early 95) its passenger footwell, outside wall.

OBD1 port is on passenger footwell next to right leg on early production 95’s. Later 95’s through 98’s are on Driver’s side.
