Does a litronic/xenon/HID high beam exist for the 993? The existing non-xenon high beams are nearly useless.

I think Litronics were std on turbos...

litronics are standard on turbos, but only the low beam. The high beam is still the old incandescents. They throw yellow light and are far inferior to the xenons.

I have no idea. But, if it is anything like the 996, it is still a Halogen bulb but a motor moves the low-beam HID to a position that makes it more effective for high-beam.

There are bi-xenons on the S6 avant and the W8 Passats.

My E46 M3 is also bi-xenon and I can sure vouch for their power to light up the road both in low beam and high beam modes! Cool to watch the unit self level when you turn them on too

The first mod to my "new" 993 will be some HID upgrades from Autolamp (if I can get them to return my emails).
