Certainly Michelin Matters, great products, and certainly the company co-brands and markets brilliantly with Porsche among others.
But, perhaps save several hundreds of dollars and follow the leads of a number on this forum, myself included: get a set of (available)Continental Extreme Contacts, enjoy the ride. I've had several sets, currently on the C4S and also my chipped,, way overpowered 335i 6-speed coupe which I push aggressively.
The Continental's deliver, wet or dry, have longer tread life. In a blind tasting, I submit few if any would discern between PS4's and these tires.

It really depends on NB vs. WB.

Once you get into WB tires, the difference in price on Tire Rack is @ $150 between Continental $1,071 (Extreme Contact) and Michelin $1,222 (4S).

That being said, Continental might very well be a better tire at a lower price (open to debate).

It depends on the deal of the day and what you can fine. I was able to buy 4 Michelin (date code 2021), including mounting, balancing, and old tire disposal fee for $1.080

I am not tracking mine anymore but still want to have the grip and responsiveness. Always had Michelin after the factory Dunlops. My MPPS2 showed me once why they are not good around cool weather (dry, just like 38F).
The MPS4S need to be replaced so are the MPS All Season 4 a bad Choice? Should be quiet too. Checking Contis too.

Over 47 years of sports car ownership, I've had pretty much everything at one point and have a strong preference for Michelin. PS2 N3's are on the 993tt and when I replace them will put on the latest PS2N. I only use N rated tires for my Porsche.
