I bought this 993 about 4 years ago and finally getting around to removing the subwoofer the previous owner put in. Just wondering if anyone see a box like this. Seems like it's bolted in because I can lift it but it seems like it swivels where seats would have bolted. Problem is I can't get to or see the bolts.

Could it be attached to the hinge attachment points the original seatbacks were attached to? If so remove one of the speakers and reach in the box to feel around.

They didn't use that but was able to finally remove after an hour. Installed the rears. Just need to find a pair of used rear buckles for the seatbelts and I have a new "family car" 😂

If you call it a "rear seat delete" instead of a speaker box, guys will be probably be outbidding each other to buy it from you.
