Question Quick Jack advice

Hi, I just purchased a Quick Jack 5000 SLX.
I have a 993 that has been lowered to European Sport specs.
I was wondering what others have had best luck with using 4" or 2" blocks, hockey puck jack pad, etc.?
Thanks,
Fullbooker

I use the 4 inch blocks with some jack pads that slip into the holes. If I use the 2 inch pads, it’s too close to the aero kit rocker panels on my car for comfort.

Hope that helps.

I had to buy thinner blocks to work with my pucks. My car is just too low. getting new suspension in a few weeks so I'll get the shop to raise it up slightly when they are in there.

I just use the 4" blocks on the jack points directly...what are the jack pads that fit in the holes?? Now I wonder if I have been doing this in an unsafe manner.

The link above are the pads I was referencing. I’ve jacked it up with just the blocks in the past, was really tight with the aero sides. Nothing unsafe about using just the blocks.

I have the same Quick Jack. My 993 is lowered as well. I use the 2” in front and 4” in the rear.
Both are positioned at the jack points. I have pucks as well but cannot use due to RS +10 height.

Rather than lower the car, you could just drive on to some 1 or 2 inch thick 6 x 6 or 8 X 8 pieces of wood.

easiest thing to do! 2"+ might be a little better, than use the big 4" blocks so you get sufficient free space between chassis and QJ.
No pin blocks needed. Works for me all the time.
