You ship the ecu to a 3rd party.

My SAI issue was that the check-valve was rotted/rusted thru.

Are there any reasons to go with a 1998 vs a 1996? I'm zero-ing in on a few C4S's and one is a 98 and two are '96s. Mileage and maintenance is about the same on all (all three new clutches, engine seals and 60k maintenance completed (all three about 60k miles).

The ecu of the 96 models are more difficult to reprogram/flash but otherwise the cars are the same.
